This is so unfair

Last year, I had a New Year's Resolution. It was to lose 50 pounds.

Ok, it didn't happen. But I came close! I lost 40! Forty pounds!

I'm pretty proud of myself for that.

But the thing that is unfair is this: When losing 40 pounds, I only went down ONE pants size. Just ONE!

I see all these commercials on TV where women lose 10 pounds and lose a pants size. They lose 20 pounds, and they lose two pants sizes. Why is it that when I lose FORTY pounds, I only lose ONE pants size?! It's just not fair!!

Don't worry about the pants size-- 40 pounds is amazing! Really! Besides, no one else will see the label on your pants anyway...

That's great! Good for you. To heck with the pants size, they're making sizes bigger to make heavier people feel better about themselves, you just must have fallen into that crack. That just doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean... LOL! What about your bra size? When I lost weight, the boobs were the first thing to go... Hell, at one time I could have lost 50 pounds and not gone down a pant size, but my chest would have shrunk to nothing.

OMG! I'm so glad it's not just me! I've always read that you should go down about a pants size for every 10 pounds and it's never happened for me! Never.
But, so what! 40 pounds is awesome! Congrats.
