Not such a good week

Monday night/Tuesday morning shift:
I cut my thumb and had to go to the ER for stitches. (It's doing just fine, by the way.)

Tuesday night/Wednesday morning shift:
I left the keys inside a kitchen drawer, just like I always do. But they were missing by the time 2nd shift went to look for them. Gone. As in they had to PRY open the metal med boxes. I **know** I left them where I always do. But, well, it still looks like I lost the keys. Yay.

Wednesday night/Thursday morning shift:
I took my clients to the Day Program as always. I locked the door on the way out of the house, as always. I forgot, however, that I didn't have that set of keys, so I couldn't get in when I got back. I had locked myself OUT of the house, while simultaneously locking my backpack and car keys IN the house.

Now it's the middle of my Thursday night/Friday morning shift...and I'm wondering what the morning will bring. *le sigh*

Maybe you'll get off easy and have an extra-good shift this time!

And, isn't it worrying that possibly someone who shouldn't has the keys to the med boxes? I hope they realize that if you didn't lose them, someone who shouldn't have them may have taken them...

I hate that saying "when it rains it pours". I think I hate it because it always seems to pertain to me. I hope it quickly stops pouring for you.

Oy. It can only look up from here, right?
