Everything sucks.

I've been looking for a job here since December - the BEGINNING of December. I've applied for over 200 jobs, and nada. Nothing. Zip. Zilch.

Tai has a job, and he liked it at first. But suddenly, co-workers are leaving, and the boss is giving him a whole bunch of their duties. Things like marketing and billing. Things that definitely don't generally fall under the responsibility of the graphic illustrator. He's not happy with this at all. Oh, and did I mention that they're not paying him any more to do this stuff? Yeahhhhh. And they were under-paying him to begin with for his REGULAR duties.

So Mike has moved in with us, and he, too is looking for a job. No luck so far for him, either. Their mom is sending us money to help cover the extra costs of having another person in the house, but honestly, we were barely making it before. In fact, now that insurance is being taken out of Tai's paycheck, we're simply NOT making it.

Alex has been as rude as can be lately - to the point where he called his father a "f******" something or other on MySpace. Needless to say, he's grounded from the internet. He's also been giving us a hard time about absolutely EVERYTHING. I'm not pleased. He's grounded from basically everything else for a while, too, after pretending to punch his father in the crotch. Yay.

Perrin is grounded because he hasn't finished cleaning his room. He's been working on it for three days, now. Ugh.

Darcy is grounded from TV because we caught her watching TV after bedtime.

The only good thing going on 'round these parts is that Kamiko came home on Saturday. She is an absolute joy. She's very snuggly when she's tired, and she's very active and fun when she's awake. In fact, she's so active that she managed to open up part of her incision (from being spayed last Friday). We had to take a trip to the vet today to have her re-glued and to get an antibiotic injection just to be safe. She loves everyone and everything. The kids don't phase her. The other cats don't phase her. She's afraid of nothing at all.

Anyway, that's what's going on. I'm gonna go take my anti-depressant now. Maybe a double dose.
