I'm gonna be an aunt!

Jeff (brother) and Emily (sister-in-law) have been trying to adopt, since they haven't had any luck getting pregnant. A while back, they finally got all of their stuff together for their profile for Catholic Charities. And their profile had been checked out several times. But they hadn't heard anything from any of the biomoms.

Until now.

They will meet the biological mother of their prospective child on Monday. :)

She is due on December 12th. They're not sure of the sex of the baby, but they do know (s)he will be biracial...which in my opinion is terrific. Biracial babies are the most beautiful babies I've ever seen.

I can't wait to have a little baby niece or nephew to spoil rotten!
