What's goin' on...

Well, this afternoon, it will be five full days since they took Grandpa off of the IV. I don't know how he's doing it, but he's still here, alive, and alert. He's only eating a couple of tablespoons of food a day, and he's getting even less to drink. I guess his room isn't ready upstairs...maybe it's still being painted.

He hasn't lost his sense of humor. He's still able to joke with us a little bit. And he laughs at least once or twice daily. I'm sure that helps.

Regardless, it's looking like I will NOT be attending a funeral while I'm here. (I'm definitely ok with that!) I head home Wednesday afternoon.
