Boy PMS

Is it possible for a ten-year-old boy to PMS? I swear that is what Alex is doing. He's whiny. He is on the verge of tears everytime I tell him no. He blames everyone and everything else under the sun for his cranky attitude. He gets like this right before he gets sick - but usually for only a day or so. This is probably three days of it so far. Plus he's already had the sniffles, etc. I don't know what's going on, but I wish it would work itself out!
